Overview of RTTS Safety Joint
The RTTS safety joint is the part of the RTTS tool string applied for the drill stem testing operation in oil and gas well. The RTTS safety joint is the tension safety joint, which releases the workstring and tools above the packer if the packer becomes stuck during operations. So the DST RTTS safety joint is an optional emergency backoff device.
